Breaking Away
Teaser for Muddled, my upcoming personal short comic. This one serves more as a conceptual piece actually, as I'm trying out an idea that's been hanging around in my head all these while. It's actually a scene in the story!

A teaser poster for an upcoming personal short comic. A miracle if I can finish it :O

Well that was a VERY slow update. HAHA. But it's finally here! Come and check it out guys, this is my Final Year Project at The One Academy Malaysia, an 3Danimated short titled "ZZZ". It took us exactly 1 year from preproduction to final. A lot of struggles and shits in between but it was a priceless experience to create a short film in a team anyway we like, it's a chance you dont always get!

I will slowly release the matte paintings from the film so look forward to it! ;)
Thank you so much for viewing!!!!!

You are more than welcome, Luciana! A lot of my old watchers had already switched career or no longer drawing, it's quite sad actually. So knowing any of you are still on line really makes me happy and motivated too. Apologies for my broken english, by the way! :p

I suspect I understand at least a little about such people Kael, and indeed it is sad, way sadder imo than if they were to try drawing and fail. To make a long story short let's just say I reached the conclusion that, for me at least, it's better to try and maybe fail than drop drawing completely and then regret it. I already dropped it enough times, but now I have what it takes in terms of motivation and personal development to really stick to it. I still have my self-esteem issues in this aspect, comparing myself to other artists and doubting I'll ever reach their level, but it's millions of times better than getting depressed over the regret of not doing something for this activity I like. Been there, done that, don't wanna ever experience that again.

And what do you mean your English is broken? O.o Seriously now, your grammar is great if I only look at what you wrote and I understood everything with no problem  Thank you again, I know I'm repeating myself, but it really means a lot to me to see artists I like being such awesome people also. Really enforces my opinion that real artists are also good human beings, so thanks a lot for existing :D

Yes a lot of people tend to quit when they think they "failed", which is actually part of the process of getting good. No one is naturally good in anything to begin with, without practice or whatsoever. They think they failed is because it's hard to climb over that wall and explore something different outside of their zone. That said, how can you be good if you dont climb over that wall of yours? So those who hold on and keep going usually succeeds, some slow and some fast depending on how well you understand yourself. While those that gave up will spread the word that it's impossible to get good because they "tried" and failed. Which is really sad!

And what you're doing is exactly what I experienced before last time, and even now! You will no doubt notice your improvement in no time, so just keep doing it and continue to love what you do! :)

Heheh I'm a Malaysian Chinese, not English based so I afraid if my grammar is not perfect. And thank you too by the way! :D
