The design is nice though,just confusing because of it's pose.The background is nicely done; with the explosions and everything.But maybe you should blur it up just a bit,to give a sense of depth.The details in the background like the metal frames are 'swallowed up' by the smoke effect,which lessens the sense of depth.
Other than that,a pretty bold move by drawing some detailed robot design + action in the background.Good job!
