Hi guys, these are my Concept Art class final project. This time we're assigned to redesign any movies chosen by ourselves that is somehow lack of design aspect and looks plain or not very interesting in terms of architecture or surrounding. And yeap the movie that we chose to redesign is Puteri Gunung Ledang, a local film from 2004. We've found that the backgrounds, landscapes and surroundings that were filmed in the movie is pretty poor or not very well defined to show the epicness of the culture there. I've picked out two out of the many poor locations, which is the Majapahit Istanate and their Meeting Hall. Eventhough I didnt succeed to please myself, but I hope you guys will dig :)

It's very welcoming and an honour to see takes on revitalizing Indonesian tradition, the unique points of the architecture and hints of their past Sumatran (Or Balinic?) based kingdoms is extremely well realized here, with a subtle creative flair & charm adding a sense of the fantastic. The moonlight setting perfectly allows for a more soulful, wholesome glow to the main location, something which daylight would have killed with abscene of contrast. :star::heart::star:

Anyways Terima kasih banyak for sharing this and Congratulations on the DD, hope to see more of such setting in your future efforts!
